Allen Tate Relocation and Corporate Services, a division of the Allen Tate Companies, has named Archie Johnson as vice president of corporate services for the company’s Upstate S.C. region.

In his new role, Johnson will provide relocation services to companies and employees moving regionally and nationally. Additionally, he will work with economic development organizations and local Chambers of Commerce to provide information and assistance to companies considering a move to the Upstate, S.C. area.

Prior to joining Allen Tate, Johnson worked in business development, banking and lending. He is also a licensed insurance agent. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and a Master of Arts degree in sports management from the University of Georgia.

An active community volunteer, Johnson currently serves as board chair of The Turning Point of South Carolina. He has previously served on the state board of the Leukemia Society and the local board of the March of Dimes; as a volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Pink Tie Power Guy event; and a United Way corporate solicitor. He is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 25.

A native of Savannah, Ga., Johnson has lived in the Upstate since 1991. He and his wife Rachel make their home in Greer. He has two daughters, Olivia and Hannah. He enjoys golf, working out, reading and spending time at the beach.
