Howard Hanna Allen Tate Real Estate, the country’s #1 family-owned and operated, independent real estate firm and the #1 brokerage in the Carolinas, has named Ryan Cox as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the company’s Gastonia-Belmont, N.C. office at 4016 E Franklin Blvd, Suite 130, in Gastonia.
In this role, Cox will oversee branch operations and lead and grow a team of more than 30 Howard Hanna Allen Tate real estate agents and staff.
A seasoned business leader and real estate professional, Cox began his real estate career in 2015 with Howard Hanna Allen Tate in the Providence/485 office, then transitioned to the Charlotte-Center City office, where he became a top performer and was named Rookie of the Year. He later expanded his career beyond traditional brokerage and into residential development, homebuilding, acquisitions and operations, holding senior leadership positions overseeing projects throughout the Charlotte region.
Prior to his real estate career, Cox worked in a management role for a digital marketing firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in entrepreneurship from High Point University.

A native of West Chester, Pa., Cox and his wife Kali make their home in Belmont. They have two children, Lena and Townsend. Cox is a volunteer for Habitat For Humanity and he enjoys boating, renovating homes, and spending time with his family at Holden Beach and the U.S. National Whitewater Center.
