Pat Riley, president and CEO, Allen Tate Companies, was a featured panelist at the 2015 Housing Summit, held September 9-11 at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C.
The event was sponsored by Zelman & Associates, an equity research firm founded in 2007 by Ivy Zelman that delivers proprietary macro and company-specific research to leading global institutional investors across multiple asset classes and sectors.
Riley spoke as part of a Realtor® panel who discussed trends in existing home sales, prices and inventory, brokerage-specific profitability drivers including commission, the role of technology in residential brokerage and the control of listing data and distribution.
Hoby Hanna, president of Howard Hanna Real Estate and Dave Liniger, chairman, CEO and co-founder of RE/MAX, also participated on the panel.
The annual event, which is attended by hundreds of industry leaders and institutional clients, also featured panels on mortgage lending and policy, private homebuilder and land development, building products distribution, building products manufacturing, single- and multi-family rentals, public homebuilders and diversity, as well as one-to-one business meetings and networking opportunities.
