Benjamin Moore’s color of the year is Silhouette. This rich chocolatey-brown is modernized with its espresso undertone. Jewel tones have been majorly trending for several years now, and interestingly enough, Silhouette has a subtle purple undertone that gives this color a rich warmth on the walls.

It’s no surprise homeowners are craving warmth on their walls after living with cool blue-grays and stark white walls for several years now, and Universal Khaki is like a warm hug on the walls. This mid-depth beige has a neutral green undertone that easily blends well with many decor styles. With a light reflective value (LRV) of 40, this color is a bit too dark to grace the walls of an open concept living space, but perfect when you want to create a cozy environment in an office or bedroom.
