Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks Realtors, Western North Carolinas’ leading real estate company since 1976, will rebrand as Howard Hanna Beverly-Hanks Real Estate.
The brand evolution will align Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks, the #1 real estate brand in the Carolinas, with its parent company, Howard Hanna Real Estate, the #1 independent, family-owned real estate company in the country. The Hanna Family of Companies includes more than 15,000 real estate agents in 500 offices in 13 states. In 2024, Howard Hanna closed 102,907 transaction sides totalling more than $37 billion.
In 2018, Allen Tate and Pittsburgh, Pa.-based Howard Hanna announced a partnership between the companies, both family-owned market leaders established in 1957. Beverly-Hanks was acquired by Allen Tate Realtors in 2022.

Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks’ longstanding tradition of giving back to local communities will grow stronger with Howard Hanna. The company will continue to support charitable initiatives in Western North Carolina.
Additionally, Howard Hanna will extend its commitment to children’s health to the region, with the establishment of the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund in the Carolinas, ensuring no family is turned away due to the inability to pay. In recognition of the company’s rebranding in the Carolinas, Howard Hanna has donated $10,000 to Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte and $10,000 to Duke Children’s Hospital in Durham. To date, Howard Hanna has contributed more than $22 million through this charitable organization.
Yard signs will reflect the new visual identity, with an emerald green and harvest gold color palate and the Howard Hanna Beverly-Hanks Real Estate logo beginning in late August. Building signage across the region will be updated in October and November. Company ownership and local leadership will remain unchanged.
Additionally, Allen Tate Insurance will transition to Howard Hanna Insurance Services, unifying with its long-time partner under a single brand to deliver expanded offerings, greater operational alignment, and more profound service continuity across markets.
