Judith Duff Pottery
Judith Duff has been a full-time studio potter since 1991. Her wheel-thrown and hand-built forms are wood fired in either a Train kiln or Japanese-style anagama to achieve a variety of natural ash and shino-glazed surfaces. The artist’s studio showroom is completely stocked with her work and is open to the public. Also on display are works by Japanese potter Shozo Michikawa and Korean potter Sung Ho Yang.

Lucy Clark Gallery
The Lucy Clark Gallery and Studio showcases more than 45 local, regional, and national artists, led by artist Lucy Clark. The art on display represents a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, jewelry, and wearable art. The goal of the gallery is to be “a feast for the eyes as well as the soul”. Mud Dabber’s Pottery
Mud Dabber’s offers one of the largest selections of locally produced pottery in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Originally established as a family business in 1988 by the John O. Dodson family, the store now features the works of more than 30 local potters. In addition to the store gallery, visitors enjoy seeing the working studio located next door. Much of the pottery for sale is fired in kilns onsite.

Number 7 Art Gallery
Enjoy a daily dose of local art from Number 7 Arts. The invitation-only cooperative gallery, founded in 1998, is the longest running art gallery in Transylvania County—making it a favorite destination for locals and visitors. Number 7 presents art in a variety of mediums and high-quality artwork by outstanding local artists, including fiber arts, furniture, jewelry, paper maché, photography, pottery, stained glass, woodwork. There is something for every taste!

Spiers Gallery at Brevard College
Come see innovative 2D and 3D art from up-and-coming and established artists. Located within the Sims Art Center, Spiers Gallery is a contemporary 1,500-square-foot art space on the campus of Brevard College. Exhibitions are on display throughout the year and include shows by students and faculty members, as well as visiting artists from WNC and around the country. Exhibits, including juried art shows, as well as many opening receptions, are free and open to the public.

Transylvania Community Arts Council
Transylvania Community Arts Council provides arts education and programming to the community in order to nurture the creative spirit. They have offered introductory arts, crafts, and pottery classes to adults and children since 1998. TCAC supports Artist in Residence programs within Transylvania County Schools. And they coordinate Brevard’s popular Fourth Friday Gallery Walk events (May–December). Their goal, as visualized in their logo, is “art for life!” Shop artwork from current exhibits on display in the gallery.
