Allen Tate Realtors® in the Upstate recently raised more than $27,000 to benefit public education, as part of the company’s Annual FUNday event.
For the past 26 years, Allen Tate agents, employees and guests have gathered to raise money for local public education organizations. In 2020 and 2021, the company held virtual fundraising campaigns because of COVID.

More than 125 people attended “Modern Barn Dance,” an evening event held September 7 at The Barn at Sitton Hill Farm in Easley, S.C.
Festivities included a live auction, DJ, photo booth, wine and liquor pull, reverse raffle, and dancing.
“This year, we had a lot of FUN. Lots of boots and cowboy hats! The venue could not have been better. Everyone was able to mingle and really enjoyed themselves,” said Kelly Smith, branch leader, Allen Tate Greenville-Downtown and Upstate FUNday chairperson.
During the event, Allen Tate Companies Chairman Pat Riley and Allen Tate Company President Gary Scott announced the company’s newest sports partnership with Clemson Athletics.
Local education organizations that will benefit from Allen Tate FUNday dollars include Greenville County, Spartanburg, Oconee, Pickens and Anderson One school districts.
