Allen Tate Realtors® President Gary Scott has been honored by RISMedia, the leading information and news provider for the residential real estate industry, as a 2022 Real Estate Newsmaker.
The fifth annual showcase includes 300 industry leaders making headlines as a result of their newsworthy contributions to the real estate industry, and their efforts to positively affect the consumers and communities they serve.
Scott, who served as general sales manager and senior vice president at Allen Tate from 1998 to 2010, returned to the company as president in November 2021. He was honored in the Luminaries category, which recognizes iconic leaders. Scott has more than 35 years in the real estate industry and most recently served as president of general brokerage for Long & Foster Real Estate, where he was responsible for 130 offices and 6,000 agents in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Scott received accolades for helping create expanded inclusive homeownership experiences for clients and a more productive work environment for sales agents. He is widely recognized for his commitment to team building and identification and development of great leaders.
