Real estate leader adds second High Country location
Allen Tate Realtors® announces its second High Country (NC) office, now open at 736 West King Street in downtown Boone.
The Carolinas’ No. 1 real estate company opened its first High Country office in September 2019, with the acquisition of Blowing Rock Investment Properties. The Allen Tate Blowing Rock office is located at 6236 US Hwy 321 South.
Since then, the Blowing Rock office has grown to more than 30 experienced Realtors serving clients in Blowing Rock, Boone, West Jefferson, Banner Elk, Linville, Beach Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Lenoir, and surrounding areas.
The new Boone office features a two-story contemporary design, with 2400 sq. ft. of office and meeting space. Bill Dacchille served as general contractor.

The 63-year-old company currently operates 45 local offices spanning the Charlotte, Triad, Research Triangle and High Country regions of North Carolina and the Upstate of South Carolina. Allen Tate is the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, with 20,071 closed transactions and $5.75 billion in closed sales volume in 2019. In addition to real estate, Allen Tate offers a full range of homeownership services including mortgage and insurance.
Scott MacIntosh, branch leader of the Blowing Rock office, will also lead the Boone office.

The opening of the Blowing Rock office was Allen Tate’s first acquisition following the announcement of their partnership with Howard Hanna Real Estate in 2018. Together, the companies rank as the No. 2 privately owned real estate firm in the nation, with more than 11,000 agents and employees in 300+ offices across 10 states.
