More than 125 Allen Tate Realtors® recently completed training on Fannie Mae’s HOMEReady™ mortgage program and are ready to help buyers qualify for and purchase affordable housing.
Two seminars, conducted by Fannie Mae presenters Yvette Francis and Tish Allen, were held January 13 at the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association. The sessions were sponsored by Allen Tate Mortgage and Radian.
The HOMEReady program is designed for credit-worthy, low-to-moderate income home buyers in designated communities. It focuses on offering borrowers low down payments, sustainable monthly payments, flexible sources of funds, the ability to cancel monthly mortgage insurance and homeownership education.
“The HOMEReady program extends the opportunity for homeownership to individuals and families who may not have previously qualified for mortgages for a variety of reasons. We’re excited to offer this program to Allen Tate clients,” said Chris Cope, president, Allen Tate Mortgage.
