Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Mark Mashburn as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the company’s Boone and Blowing Rock offices in the High Country region.
In this role, Mashburn will oversee branch operations and lead and grow a team of more than 40 Allen Tate Realtors® and staff.
A seasoned professional, Mashburn has worked as a Realtor/Broker for six years. Prior to his real estate career, he worked as an insurance agent and materials purchasing manager for a healthcare organization. He holds a bachelor of science degree in sports and fitness administration/management from Reinhardt University, where he was a soccer scholarship recipient.
Mashburn is an active community volunteer, having served on the board of directors for the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce and the executive board of Hospitality House of Northwest NC. He is a youth sports coach, a Special Olympics volunteer, and an Eagle Scout.

A native of Statesboro, Georgia, Mashburn and his wife Heather Jo make their home in Boone. They have two sons, James and Davis, and two dogs, Cali and Aubie. He enjoys travel, pickleball, mountain biking, skiing, white water sports, golf, hiking and soccer.
