Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Jennifer Thompson as sales manager of the company’s Charlotte-Ballantyne office at 13526 Johnston Road and the Indian Land-Doby’s Bridge office at 8356 Charlotte Highway, Suite 101, in Indian Land, S.C.
In her new role, Thompson will will help oversee branch operations and train more than 130 Allen Tate agents and staff.
Thompson is an award-winning Realtor® with 4 years of residential real estate experience, most recently in the company’s Charlotte-Ballantyne office. Prior to her real estate career, Thompson was a middle school teacher for 18 years.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from the University of South Carolina, as well as a Masters of Arts in Teacher Leadership and an Education Specialist (EdS) degree from Walden University.
Active in her community, Thompson is a former president of School Improvement Council of Indian Land Middle School and a volunteer at Hospitality House and Ronald McDonald House.

Thompson and her husband Eric have two daughters and make their home in Indian Land. She enjoys participating in 5K and 10K races and watching college football.
