Chris Watson has been a Carolina Panthers’ fan for as long as he can remember, but the Waynesville, N.C. resident had visited only Bank of America Stadium once, for a game in 2015. So when he received an email from the Panthers about a chance to win a tour of the stadium, he signed up.
On Saturday, Watson was able to see a lot more of the Panthers’ home, along with his 10-year-old daughter Abby, as one of the 25 behind-the-scenes tour winners of the Allen Tate Prowl the Den Sweepstakes.
The father-daughter duo joined other winners and their guests visiting the Panthers locker room, training room, PantherVision studio, team kitchen and other areas usually off-limits to the public. The tour winners and guests also enjoyed a tailgate party, entertainment by the PurrCussion drumline, visits with Sir Purr and the Top Cats, and an opportunity to run onto the playing field during the event held November 13.
Watson was also selected as the Grand Prize winner of Prowl the Den, and will receive four suite tickets and pre-game hospitality for the December 12, 2021 home game vs. Atlanta and four replica Carolina Panthers jerseys. He’s hoping to see his favorite player, Christian McCaffrey, and take Abby to her first Panthers game.
More than 20,000 Panthers fans registered for the contest, now in its ninth year. Prowl the Den is one of the many ways Allen Tate celebrates its 15-year partnership as Official Realtor® of The Carolina Panthers.
