Allen Tate Companies and Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks Realtors, the Carolinas’ real estate leaders, have joined with parent company Howard Hanna Real Estate to contribute $200,000 to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts..

The $200,000 donation to the American Red Cross from the Howard Hanna Family of Companies Foundation, the Allen Tate Foundation and the Beverly-Hanks Gives Big Foundation, will support ongoing relief efforts in communities throughout North and South Carolina impacted by the storm. More than 500 Allen Tate and Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks Realtors, employees and their families live and work in Western North Carolina communities where devastation is widespread.

“In Western North Carolina, we are a family of neighbors, always willing to lend a hand to others in need. Allen Tate/Beverly Hanks has opened our offices as community hubs to those who need to charge technology, contact loved ones, file FEMA applications and insurance claims, or have other critical needs we can help with. Our agents and employees have stepped up to coordinate supply donations and deliveries,” said Neal Hanks, president, Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks Realtors.

“Our region has suffered tremendous devastation and it will be a long recovery. But I am tremendously encouraged by the outpouring of support that I have seen in the past two weeks. Our communities are resilient, and our company and our people have made – and will continue to make – a significant impact on our recovery and rebuilding,” Hanks said.

Hurricane Helene impacted multiple communities throughout the Allen Tate and Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks footprint in North and South Carolina, including the Asheville/Mountain region, Blowing Rock, Boone, Highlands, Cashiers and the Upstate region of South Carolina.
