Asheville Buncombe Adult Soccer Association

ABASA is Asheville’s premier soccer league. The volunteer-run nonprofit coordinates nearly 2,000 soccer players each year, making it the second largest league in the state! They offer full fall and spring seasons, with a shortened summer league June–August. Each division ranges in skill and availability. Connect with the captains and divisions that interest you.

Asheville Hockey

Since 2000, Asheville Hockey has offered both youth and adult inline hockey leagues, working toward their mission of making hockey accessible to everyone. For 23 years, their rink was located in Carrier Park. Since Hurricane Helene, the league is temporarily playing in Greenville, South Carolina. New players must register with AAU to be eligible to play. Regular seasons run nine or ten games of two 20-minute periods.

Asheville Rugby Football Club

Come see what rugby is all about and why it’s one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S. The Asheville Rugby Football Club meets twice a week through the season at Roger Farm Park. Founded in 1983, this competitive club is a member of Division III of USA Rugby. No experience is needed or expected.

Asheville Sports Club

Asheville Sports Club is an upscale club in the heart of downtown’s South Slope District. The venue primarily offers court rentals for pickleball and basketball—as well as coffee and cocktails for both players and viewers. However, check their event schedule and you’ll see that they host everything from NFL Ticket nights to trivia, karaoke, and pickup games. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on leash in the outside areas. 21+ after 7:00 PM.

League dodgeball is currently available on Tuesdays.
